Adam Burnett
Adam Burnett has taken his love for Champ Homes to the next level. Adam began his work at Champ as its financial administrator, upgrading and professionalizing accounting systems. Rapidly, his role expanded to focus more on the operations of the organization; and it became increasingly apparent to all that he possessed strong leadership qualities combined with a compassionate, caring nature.
The milestones that led Adam, a native of Cape Cod, to this important, new mission began when he graduated from Barnstable High School and went on to Bentley University in Waltham, MA to earn a B.S. in Managerial Economics. While at Bentley, he volunteered with Oxfam America and in a variety of schools helping at risk youth with their reading competency. After graduating, he worked at City Roots High School in South Boston as a math teacher and life skills coach. Shifting gears, Adam had a 10-year career as a regional manager of several Boston restaurants.
He met his wife Andrea, a teacher in Barnstable Public Schools, and they were married in 2004. They moved back to the Cape in 2009 and have two beautiful children Abby and Ben, who love nothing more than coming in once a month to cook for the Champ Homes community.
Outside of Champ Homes, Adam volunteers his time with a variety of organizations. He has served on the Board of Directors of Cape Cod Young Professionals, and Barnstable Little League as well as being their treasurer. He coaches his son’s baseball team and is the den leader of his Cub Scout Den. He enjoys cycling, hiking and travel, especially camping with his family.
